ARTISTS & LIVE MUSIC
Some people become something different when they step in front of an audience.
I photograph musicians and performers both on and off stage — from portraits and promotional sessions to rehearsals, backstage moments and live performances.
Sometimes the work is carefully built: light, styling, location, movement and an idea we develop together. Other times, there is nothing to direct. The music starts, the room changes, and my job is simply to pay attention.
What interests me is everything in between — the presence, the energy, the details, and the person behind the performance.
The portrait. The performance. And everything that happens between the two.
ON STAGE / OFF STAGE
PORTRAITS
For no other reason than being here.
There doesn’t always have to be an occasion.
Sometimes a portrait is simply a way of seeing yourself — who you are now, what you carry, what you’re becoming.
These sessions can be quiet or playful, carefully constructed or allowed to unfold. We can build something together through light, styling, movement and place, or begin with very little and see where it takes us.
I’m interested in the person beneath the idea of the portrait.
Not who you’re supposed to be. Just who you are right now.
BOUDOIR
The body you live in, right now.
There is no final version of our bodies.
They change with time, with age, with everything we live through. And somewhere along the way, we can become so accustomed to inhabiting them that we forget to really see them.
Boudoir, to me, isn’t about becoming someone else for the camera. It can be sensual, playful, vulnerable or bold — but above all, it is a portrait of you in this particular moment.
You don’t have to arrive feeling fearless.
You don’t have to know how to pose.
And you certainly don’t have to wait until your body looks different.
You are already worth remembering as you are.
